About GoSellMineralRights
Most mineral rights owners only hear from buyers one letter at a time. We built GoSellMineralRights so owners can put their mineral rights in front of several buyers at once, compare written offers, and decide with the facts in front of them.
What we do
We match mineral rights owners with independent mineral and royalty buyers who are active in their state and county. An owner tells us where the mineral rights are and what they own; we send the request to up to 3 buyers who purchase there; they make written offers; the owner compares and decides. Owners can sell everything, sell part, or keep their mineral rights.
Owners request offers from us in 28 states: Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Colorado, Louisiana, Wyoming, Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New York, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah and Virginia. Our state pages and 13 basin pages show where buyers are most active and what they check before an offer.
How we're paid
Buyers pay us for introductions. Owners pay nothing, whether they sell or not, and our fee never comes out of the owner's price. Because buyers pay, we tell owners plainly that their request goes to up to 3 buyers who may contact them, and we don't sell an owner's details to marketing lists or data brokers (see our privacy policy).
How we choose the buyers we work with
Buyers in our network agree to make offers in writing, to state exactly what they are buying, never to charge an owner a fee to process a sale, to pay at or before recording or through an escrow, and to stop contacting any owner who decides to keep their minerals. These are the same standards we teach owners to expect in our guide to mineral rights buyers and brokers. Buyers who want to join can read how it works for mineral buyers.
How we write and check our pages
Our 17 guides and every state and basin page are built from official sources: state oil and gas regulators, state tax offices and statutes, the IRS, the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the Bureau of Land Management and university extension services. Each page lists its sources and the date it was last reviewed. If we can't verify a fact from a source we can name, we leave it out. Where a state's official website couldn't be reached, we cite a reputable reproduction of the statute and label it as such.
We don't publish reviews, deal counts or results we can't show. Images on this site are illustrations of typical places, equipment and paperwork; none of them show our clients, their land, their deals or our staff.
What we don't do
We aren't a mineral rights buyer, a mineral rights broker, a law firm or a tax adviser. We don't negotiate for you and we don't take a cut of your price. Any sale is made directly between you and the buyer you choose, on terms you agree with them. For legal or tax questions, our guide on when to hire a mineral rights attorney explains who to ask.
Who runs this site
GoSellMineralRights is operated by Elia Kashif. Contact us at hello@gosellmineralrights.com. Questions most owners ask are answered on our FAQ page, and how it works walks through a request step by step.
